Mentoring Advanced Programs for Students
  Mentoring Advanced Programs for Students (MAPS) was founded in 2005 by Scott Keeney, CEO of nLIGHT, with the mission to help students develop a clearer vision of their future, develop potential career options and strategies for success in the global economy.

The MAPS program brings together professionals from local business to volunteer their time to mentor high school students pursuing advanced placement coursework. This program not only helps the students to succeed in their rigorous coursework, but also provides them with real world exposure to how the concepts are utilized in the workplace.
