nLIGHT Recognized by TechAmerica Oregon as System/Hardware Company of the Year

VANCOUVER, Wash. USA May 14, 2012

Leading high-power semiconductor laser provider nLIGHT Corporation (nLIGHT) has been named by TechAmerica Oregon as System/Hardware Company of the Year. TechAmerica recognizes the company that has made the biggest positive impact to their industry and to the region.

“We are pleased to receive this award from TechAmerica.” said Scott Keeney, nLIGHT’s President and CEO. “It is a great honor for our teams in both Vancouver, Washington and Hillsboro, Oregon.”

TechAmerica Oregon celebrates excellence and achievement in the region’s technology industry and recognizes recipients for their accomplishments, leadership and commitment to the community and industry. The nominations for System/Hardware Company of the Year were critiqued on the company’s primary source of revenue and profit through design, manufacture and sale of hardware products or systems.

“With so many outstanding applications, the selection committee had a difficult job selecting just one winner for each category and for the first time ever we had a tie.” Said Kari Naone, TechAmerica’s Interim Regional Vice President for Oregon.
